Steve from IoW Defibrillators and his colleague were barely on site for 30 minutes on Friday to fit a new Defibrillator outside the Green Room doors. This is a welcome development for this area and Salisbury Gardens to improve the safety and First Aid assistance if ever required.
Many of the staff at VTC are trained in the use of the defib and as such we would hope that if any such emergency arose a life may and could be saved with this important piece of lifesaving equipment. Many tanks to the Rotary Club who donated towards this equipment and Ventnor Town Council for providing the rest. Thank you to IOW Defibrillators who provided and fitted the kit at the site.
Lets hope that this kit is never needed in earnest.
