Finally the walkway down the Cascade has reopened, with the sun shining and a good sized crowd the official opening went off with lots of people enjoying a great afternoon on Good Friday.
Representatives from Island roads and the local contractors on the project , accompanied by Ventnor Town Council Mayor, and other town councillors supported by the Ventnor Carnival the festivities got off to a great start.
Games, a giant Easter Bunny and Pirates along with an egg hunt everyone had a lovely time.
The Esplanade is definitely open for business, get down and explore the fabulous sights and businesses on such a perfect setting.
