CCTV Consultation – Esplanade Toilets

Following several instances of vandalism to the toilets, costing the ratepayer significantly, Ventnor Town Council agreed on 20 February 2024 to install CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) cameras outside Ventnor Eastern Esplanade Toilets.

The decision to proceed required a public consultation, and we are inviting residents to participate by completing a simple form – see link below. 

The cameras would be used for the prevention and detection of crime and for protecting the safety of users in line with our published CCTV policy; cameras will not be used for any other purposes.

For those without printing facilities, forms can be collected from our office (address below) Monday to Thursday, 10am-3pm. There will also be forms available with the South Wight Chronicle in Ventnor Post Office.

Please return completed forms by Friday 13th December 2024 to:
